How WeJustDownload handles the limited data needed to operate the service.
What we process
When you use the tool, we process the public URL you submit, the format you choose, temporary processing identifiers, and technical request data such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and security or rate-limit signals. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
Temporary media processing
A submitted public link is used to inspect the source and, if requested, prepare a file. Temporary job records and generated files are kept only for the time needed to complete the request and are removed when a file is delivered or the temporary processing environment is cleared. Do not submit private links, credentials, or material you do not have permission to process.
Advertising and cookies
We use advertising placements and may work with advertising partners, including Adsterra. Those partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP address, and similar technologies to provide, measure, personalize, limit, or secure advertising under their own policies. Your browser controls and applicable consent choices may affect those technologies.
No platform credentials
WeJustDownload is designed not to request, collect, import, or store social-platform usernames, passwords, session cookies, or other account credentials. Never send credentials through the service.
Sharing and service providers
We may share limited technical data with providers that deliver hosting, security, analytics, and advertising functions when necessary to run the website. We do not sell a submitted media file as a standalone product.
